Why do you want to start or why did you start your home business?

The answer to this question is the determining factor in whether you have major success in the network marketing industry.

Most network marketers go through wasted time in their business not knowing why their not creating success for themselves. Taking this one step before you embark on your journey in this industry will create the lifestyle you are dreaming about.

Countless millionaires have proven it many times over. They speak very highly of putting their why into place before they have their new associates talk to one person about their business.

One big misconception of determining your why many people have is making it all about money. Although money is the main challenge you may be having right now, your why just cant be about the money.

Your why should be emotionally attached to you. I once heard from a top network marketer that your why must make you cry.

What is something that is so emotionally attached to you that you literally will Die to get it? This is how strong your why must be, it should break your heart everyday you do not possess whatever it is.

These are the type of emotions and feelings you should have in your business to keep you going.

The main reason your why should be something so emotionally attached to you that it bring tears to your eyes with even the thought of quitting is because there will be tough times. You will not want to get up everyday and do this business.

Life will get in the way your friends will call you crazy and you will come across those people who will tell you no to your opportunity. This is where your why steps in and help you to say, Some Will! Some Won’t! So What! Next!(SW..SW..SW..N)

So is the reason you started your home-business strong enough to withstand the tough times you will face on your journey to network marketing success?

Here are a few tips for you to implement right now:

1. Write your why down on paper

2. Post your why everywhere(bathroom mirror,refrigerator,bedroom ceiling, bedroom mirror, etc.)

3. Read your why first thing in the morning and right before you go to bed at night

Now go out and create your Why and Fly like an Eagle in your business and life.

Was 2009 everything you expected it to be?

Did you reach your 2009 resolutions?

As I sit here writing this article, reflecting on how my 2009 has been my main question is how can I make 2010 even better. That’s what my main focus as well as your main focus should be.

Ask yourself, “What can I learn from  2009 that I can improve on in 2010?”

As for me one thing would be getting started late. I get so caught up in the little stuff that it doesn’t leave much time on whats important for better results.

It seems I don’t get started until the end of the month or the end of the year. Although I make things happen I would be able to focus on key areas in my business like tracking my results. My business partner calls me the teams clutch player, he can always count on me to bring in the last few numbers our team needs. I learned though if I take that same make it happen Attitude all month or all year long I will be able to accomplish much more.

So what have you learned from 2009 that you will become better at in 2010?

One thing you do here alot about is people quitting to soon on there goals due to short term thinking.

Most people have the mentality that if something doesnt happen in 1-2 months its not going to work. This is why in the month of January the gyms of the world are all filled with what I like to call false hope. Many people in the gym right now are expecting quick results and when February or March rolls around and they dont have the perfect physique that they are looking for, they Quit.

I read a story by Zig Ziglar of the Chinese bamboo tree.

“The process goes like this: You take a little seed, plant it, water it, and fertilize it for a whole year, and nothing happens. The second year you water it and fertilize it, and nothing happens. The third year you water it and fertilize it, and nothing happens. How discouraging this becomes! The fifth year you continue to water and fertilize the seed and then—take note. Sometime during the fifth year, the Chinese bamboo tree sprouts and grows NINETY FEET IN SIX WEEKS!

Life is much akin to the growing process of the Chinese bamboo tree. It is often discouraging. We seemingly do things right, and nothing happens. But for those who do things right and are not discouraged and are persistent things will happen. Finally we begin to receive the rewards.”

Many people may ask why does it take so long for the bamboo to grow. The answer is simple, it is growing!

Although the bamboo tree may not appear to be growing in the first few seasons, the main thing it is doing is building its foundation, the roots. Without the roots, the tree would not be stable enough to withstand the heavy winds in the fall.

Have you built your foundation in your life or business?

Or, did you quit just before your tree of life is about to peak from the surface?

Here is the best Question I heard to ask yourself to reach the Success you are looking for.

“Who is the person I would like to become?

A followup question is…

How would the person I would like to be, do what I’m about to do?

The only thing left now is ACTION be like Nike and JUST DO!

Tell yourself I WILL UNTIL!

To Do or Not To Do…That is the
Question! Thought I’d give you a lil Shakespeare.

Discipline is nothing more than the process of focusing on any chosen activity without interruption until that activity is complete.

In the dictionary it reads discipline is an Action word. Its not something you think about doing its like Nike ” Just Do!”

The dictionary also states that discipline is about training yourself  to act in accordance with rules; drill: military discipline.  If you know someone or you yourself are in the military, you know the one skill you will learn is discipline.

Discipline is also an activity, exercise, or a regimen that develops or improves a skill; according to the dictionary. Disciplining yourself to do the necessary activity over and over consistently will give you the results you are looking for.

Discipline is the ability to stay focused on your chosen action path without detour, distraction, or interruption. It is having complete Laser focus like a Rhino. Did you know Rhino’s charge with there eyes closed? Rhinos will not stop until they hit there target. Do you have this type of discipline working for you?

This is the type of discipline you need to have in your MLM business. Discipline allows you to reach heights in your business you can only imagine.

Ask yourself what one activity that if I disciplined myself to doing everyday, will bring me the biggest results.

Bottom line don’t be fooled by someone who says anyone don’t work, both work many leaders have proven it. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but here is what makes them work, your Skill set. What skills do you have right now in either of these marketing techniques?

Increasing your self worth in this economy right now, is what makes or breaks whether you will have true success in any business.

Everyone is talking about how important this is more now than ever before. This is the best time to get trained on a skill especially if you don’t have one already. Schools, businesses, and jobs of America are stressing the importance of increasing your skill set.

Are you good at recruiting people to your business? If not than I suggest you increase this skill as soon as NOW! This is the one skill you will need to possess to create true time freedom in your life. Like Paul J. Getty says, “I rather have 1% of 100 peoples effort than 100% of my own”  This skill will allow you to spend time with your loved ones and still make money.

How good are you at communicating with your prospects?

This is the number 1 skill that will allow you to move mountains in life. In order for any business or any person to flourish to heights you can only imagine, this skill MUST be mastered. Yet it is one of the must undeveloped skills of today.

Most people don’t recognize that if they will learn this skill it will increase there income 10 fold. It doesn’t matter what company or job your with, increase your communication skills and you will be successful. Now with those key skills under your belt you will be dangers in your business. And you thought it was the economy that was the reason why your business is not successful? NOPE! Its YOU!

How good are you at the following:
Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Video Marketing, PPC, Keyword Research, List Building and some new offline techniques.

Online marketing can be confusing with all the different ways to generate income online. The reason why people go online in network marketing is to generate there own Leads. Not to mention to have prospects chasing you instead of you chasing them for a change.

The key is to FOCUS on ONE technique until you master it. Once you decide on the technique you want to master online then find someone to follow, who have mastered that skill and don’t stop until you are generating at least 10 leads everyday.

What are you duplicating throughout your organization? Is it helping you build a massive organization or hurting you?

Let’s start this article by sharing with you what the dictionary definition of duplication is: To make an exact copy of an original.

Are you promoting that through your organization? If you are then you have a producing organization that’s making you hundreds of thousands of dollars every month.

Duplication is where the rubber meets the road for creating real and lasting success.

Its important to know that duplication can either hurt you or help you. If your system is only good for people who have a large center of influence, like most network marketing leaders system are setup, making it completely one-sided. Mainly for people with a business-minded contact list, this is a problem.

What I mean by this is most companies want you to make a list of your family and friends. What if you don’t have many contacts of friends and family on your list? After you talk to those people then what? And if their not business-minded makes that list not worth anything.

The system you use most duplicate down to the newest person. And it has to be “So Simple A Cave Man Can Do It” like the Gieco commercials. LOL! (Funny Stuff!)

With the proper system set in place you will enjoy the power of duplication like the leaders who have built and organization of 10,000 people or more.

Here’s a challenge for you so you can see the power of duplication.

If you had a choice to either take $10,000 a day for the next 30 days or the choice to get paid a single penny everday for 30 days what would you choose?

Halfway there. Do you think it was a good choice to take the penny doubled every day? Sure doesn’t look like it’s adding up very fast. Let’s get back to work!

At the end of 30 days, if you had chosen $10,000 a day you would have $300,000. If you had
chosen the doubling penny. . . you would have more than. . . TEN MILLION DOLLARS!

$5,368,709.12 x 2 =$10,737,418.24…To Be Exact!

On the last day alone , you would have been paid more than Five Million Dollars!
This is the power of COMPOUNDING. In the beginning, when you double a small number,
the result is still a small number. But as you continue doubling, the number gets bigger and bigger and
bigger, and eventually, you achieve MASSIVE GROWTH in a SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.
Look at the chart above. If you took $10,000 a day, by the 24th day, you would have a total of
$240,000. With the doubling penny, your total would have been only $167,772.16. But look at the
LAST FIVE DAYS of the month. With the doubling penny, in those last five days, your DAILY
income grows from $167,772.16 to $5,368,708.80! It’s no wonder that Albert Einstein described
compound interest as, “The greatest mathematical discovery of all time.”

In the beginning it may be hard to see the potential of how large your organization can become. But just like the penny over time you will reap the rewards.

The key to duplication in your network marketing business is; Use the proven principles of success and teach the same thing to other people. Then they do the same with others, and the others do the same too.

I’m sure you’ve heard leaders say your team will do what you do not what you say. Are you doing what you want your team to do? Its always good to ask yourself, If my team did what I did today how much money would I have made?
