Your main focus as a business owner is getting results from your marketing efforts right? Well, would you agree that there is a right and a wrong way to market to someone? The type of people posting like I mentioned above are doing it the wrong way and its causing many problems for them.

For starters most people don’t like pushy sales people or being sold period. You must stand out from the crowd and be different from everyone else. This is what attracts people to want to buy from from you. To stand out from the crowd does not take much work on your part the site tells you what its for. Just look at what the site is called, “Social Network” The first part is Social… So Be Sociable! Find out what problems people are facing in their life right now by asking questions.

Before you start asking question you want to introduce yourself. Hi my name is (Insert your name) How are you doing? Ask people what they do for a living, how they like what they do, why they dont like what they do, what are they doing right now to change their current situation. Don’t sound like and interrogator make it conversational like you were face to face.

Conversations alone, getting to know someone becoming invited in their world can create more success than you can imagine on any social networking site. You can even have people start conversations with you by posting Good Valuable content in the Facebook news feed. For example post quotes that people can relate to. I love posting great quotes on Facebook, this draws people to me like wild fire.

Maybe you know of a free webinar that helps someone with a possible situation they may be facing in their life or business. Or some good training showing them how to Market Their Network Marketing Business Online the correct way. Also if people request you to be their friend send them a message and get to know them. You can say, Thanks for the friend request looking forward to getting to know you. What do you do? This starts a conversation instantly creating the second part of social networking, “Networking.”

Have you ever wondered what type of income the wealthiest people in the world use to create their fortune and do it by working less hours?

Most people are relying on the more traditional way of creating an income for themselves and are getting know where fast; Such a way is:

Linear Income

The best way to explain linear income is money you receive when you work or trading your time for dollars. Working 40 hours a week and getting paid one time for those 40 hours. With this type of income your income is a direct result of you being actively involved continuously.

Residual Income

Residual income is income that you continue to receive after a sale. An example of residual income is when you write a book, get paid for the initial sales of the book, but then get a percentage of all future sales. The percentage would be your residual income.

This type of income you see being generated mostly by celebrity singers, songwriters, inventors in the form of royalties.

The best thing about residual income is that it spurs off into multiple income streams for you as well such as:

Passive Income

This type of income allows you to earn income without actively being involved. Think of it this way, right now you are working 40-70 hours a week and getting paid once. How would you like to get paid for that same work you did working those 40-70 hours over and over again.

This is the true meaning of passive income this is what allows your boss to live on the beach while you slave at work all day.

I’m sure we all have had this thought in our mind at one point in our business.

The truth of the matter is Its not whether your company is giving the top leaders the exclusive training but whether or not the training your getting is appropriate for today’s marketing. Problem #1- Lack of Leads

This is by far the most talked about Problem in the MLM Industry, because if you dont have anyone one to talk to your not making money in your business.

In network marketing new blood is the life blood of any successful business.

Im sure you like myself have heard many leaders say that you have to talk to more people. T.T.L.O.P.E(Talk To Lots Of People Everyday)

Talking to more people everyday will give you the practice you need to be a success in this industry. The difference between the top money earners and you is they have talked to more people then you. And by doing so they have gained the necessary skills needed to communicate better, the result is a bigger team.

By having more leads than you can handle will allow you to make up in numbers what you lack in skills.

Now there are two ways to get leads….

#1 -Purchase Leads

This is the method many people choose because they found that there upline was using them. I myself have purchased my share of leads because I found out many people in the company I was with were using them at the time. I know a few people who were having success with there leads and getting recruits. I even know one guy who came off of a lead and is now making over $100,000 a year.

What I found out very quickly was, if you don’t have deep pockets(a lot of money) like many of us didn’t have when we first get started this is the quickest way to go broke.

So if you don’t have Deep pockets like I didn’t and the skills needed to handle all the objections you will receive this may not be the method for you.

#2 Create Your Own Leads

• Make a List

This method is most used in this industry when your upline tells you to make a list of your family and friends. Now this method can be affective if you have the right people in your circle of influence. You are only as successful as the 5 people you have around you. Many of us have heard this if you’ve read any personal development book.

This is something I had to ponder when I first heard it. The people I had around me at the time was involved into some lets say, not so nice things. After looking at my surroundings I ask myself…

Who are the 5 most influential people around me?

Is what their doing to me helping me or hurting me?

Needless to say I have new friends now!

• Attract Prospects To You

This method is used by many of the top leaders in this industry today called Attraction Marketing.

Attraction Marketing has become a buzz term in internet network marketing circles for some few years now. Simply put, attraction marketing dispenses with the old school methods of approaching people in this industry to having prospects seek you out and ask you about your business. You do this by having prospects seek you out making you the hunted instead of being the hunter. You do this by placing your message in front of those people who actually want to hear it.

With the internet this technique will put your business on steroids.

To make this work for you , you need to offer something of value to people. Whether it be a free e-book or some free training that helps there business like Im doing in my Blog posts here. The key is to give without want.

Face book is a social utility that connects people to keep up with friends, upload photos, share links and videos. Most people are forgetting this key point with Face book. This is the reason face book is ranked #2 on Alexa.com a site that list the top searched websites in the world.

I’ll admit before I knew what face book really was for I made some of the same mistakes. After getting frustrated of doing things like everyone else I went on a search to find a better way. You must have the certain charisma, confidence and leadership that you really want to see in everything you do.  You must be aware on how you speak, how you present yourself, the clothes that you’re wearing, the tone and pace of your voice and the conviction in it. Confidence and leadership is the single most powerful way to communicate with people.

You don’t have to have the money to become a leader. Internet marketing is such a crowded market place and you need to get the attention and when u get that attention, you must know how  to  hold it and grow it  and how to build it into something bigger.
